MotorEasy’s Lite Warranty Plans give you simple, stress-free cover for sudden mechanical or electrical failures - but with one important difference from our full cover. Unlike our comprehensive plans, a Lite plan is a cost-effective alternative that only covers failures which stop your vehicle at the roadside over a mile from home and requires recovery to a workshop.
Costing approximately 50% less than a full plan, it’s an affordable way to protect vital vehicle components against genuine, unexpected breakdowns, so you still get peace of mind, but pay only for the cover you really need.
If you’d like more complete protection, our recommended full warranty plans go even further, covering a wider range of faults, repairs that don’t require roadside breakdown, plus extra features for total reassurance, whatever happens on the road.
What Does the Lite Warranty Cover?
MotorEasy’s Lite warranty options focus on protecting the key parts most likely to fail as your vehicle gets older. Plan A Lite offers the widest cover in our Lite range, with Plans B Lite and C Lite providing more tailored cover

How Does the Lite Warranty Work?
A Lite plan is a value alternative to our full recommended cover, as it requires a breakdown to occur at the roadside that prevents your car from continuing its journey. Your vehicle must be recovered to a workshop for the claim to be valid - this means Lite plans protect you for genuine, unexpected breakdowns only.
Once the breakdown is confirmed, MotorEasy handles the rest: we approve repairs, manage the work at our trusted network or your chosen garage, and settle approved claims directly up to your agreed limit.

Lite Warranty Plan Comparison: Plan A vs B vs C
Eligibility for Plans A, B, or C are based upon the age and/or mileage of your car, subject to the policy term:
- Plan A: Cover for cars 3 years and older coming out of manufacturer's guarantee, with a maximum inception mileage of 60k.
- Plan B: Specifically designed for cars 5 years and older, with a maximum inception mileage of 100k.
- Plan C: Essential cover for cars 10 years and older, including the major mechanical components, with a maximum inception mileage of 120k.
