When it comes to motoring web sites, Jim has been round the block more times that a used Sierra.

He managed the editorial team at Auto Trader for 7 years before heading to Haymarket Publishing, home of What Car?, Autocar and, at the time Pistonheads. Later stints included Managing Director at Exchange and Mart before moving to a similar role at Sunday Times Driving and Sunmotors. Prior to his current position at MotorEasy, he was part of the leadership team at DriveTribe, the community and "user generated content" platform launched by Jeremey Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May.

His daily whip is a Tesla, but he retains both feet firmly in the petrolhead camp as the owner of a Porshe 944 and a Toyota MR2 mk 1.
